UNWANTED AND PLEADING
(A poem viewed by an unwanted baby in the belly of a mother)
Mommy, am I a mistake?
I didn't mean to ruin your life.
I didn't mean to cause you pain or cause you so much strife.
I feel there's indecision, or have you made up your mind?
You've already given me life, so please give me some time.
I hear lots of music, but it doesn't calm my soul
But the things that I do hear, makes me feel so cold.
Jesus has a plan for me, or I wouldn't have been conceived.
Please let me be a full term baby, Please, Oh please don't be deceived.
I know you're unhappy with your life, But I didn't cause none of this
And if you decide to get rid of me
I promise, someday it's me you're going to miss.
Mommy, already my love for you is like a ring, it has no beginning and it has no end And if you'll decide to keep me Oh, we'll be the best of friends.
Mommy, when I hear your voice, It sounds so good to me
And I get excited, cause it's you I want to see.
So, this decision is up to you. The ball is in your court,
So I pray each and everyday,
That your choice is not abort.
